Research includes the study of pathogen-host interaction and the QTL analysis of the malaria pathogen. In July 2007, Dr. Vernick accepted his current position with the Institut Pasteur, a non-profit private foundation dedicated to prevention and treatment of diseases. He continues his research program at the University of Minnesota, and is establishing collaborative research projects between the University and the Institut Pasteur. | |||||||||||||
